The Stroke Care Network’s mission is to operate for the purpose of improving the quality of care, preventive medicine, education and research into stroke and related diseases throughout our region.

• Building and improving stroke systems of care

• Promoting organized, standardized stroke care approaches in each facility and in components of the network

• Providing a value-oriented approach to education and awareness for the communities

• Providing a strong base in clinical education

• Promoting evidence-based standards of care by seeking effective interaction and collaboration among agencies, services, and people involved in providing prevention, identification, transportation, treatment, rehabilitation and community services of stroke patients

• Identifying and implementing quality management measures for facilities, systems, and the network as a whole
